Oasis Europe has historically had a strong relationship with The Pier and recently acted for Graphite Capital in their sale of the Dewhurst butchers chain. In a difficult market-place the eventual buyer was Lloyd Maunder, a supplier seeking vertical integration. This was a relatively complex transaction involving the transfer of approximately 120 leases and the strategic plan for 3 different butchers brands. We have also worked for brand owners in diverse markets including sporting goods, Webley and Scott, and branded household products – a current assignment.

In an ever-changing market Oasis has completed transactions in many areas of the leisure and travel industry including both agency and tour operating companies. Consolidation in the corporate travel agency sector over the last few years has led to Oasis acting for a number of agencies as the move from commissions to charging fees to clients was adopted. In the tour operating sector particular interest has focused on niches such as activity / adventure based holidays, a trend which is continuing today. We have also worked in the bus and coach travel sector selling both London bus and coach holiday operations.

In recent years we have acted for clients in many areas of the food and drink market including catering / food service, fruit and vegetable growers and wholesales, and currently are working with branded products.

Consolidation in the medical equipment market has led to us representing the interests of a number of firms. These were both manufacturers as well as distributors. However given the overall activity within the healthcare sector it is perhaps unsurprising that Oasis Europe has also represented a pharmaceutical supplier and an agency supplying qualified medical personnel. As a consequence our contacts and expertise in this sector are extensive. We are currently representing clients in this market and are confident that this will remain the case for the foreseeable future.
